How long your freshly-cleaned carpet takes to dry depends on the Northmead humidity levels on your day of service. While it typically takes 8 hours for the steam-cleaned carpet to feel dry to the touch, you can walk across cleaned areas as soon as 30 minutes after your carpet cleaning service is finished!

That being said, we do suggest wearing clean socks to avoid re-soiling. Additionally, it’s a good idea to limit foot traffic, including children and pets, until the 4-6 hour mark has passed.
