Called the number and spoke to a gentleman named Ray.I asked if he could clean the carpet in a granny flat for an elderly member of our community.The very first question he asked was "How soiled is the carpet?".I advised him that the carpet was heavily soiled from a previous tenant's pet peeing and soiling the carpet. He promptly advised me that the underlay would need to be replaced and new carpet laid down. He wasn't looking to make any money in a flash. Early hours in the morning I enquired on the website for a quote and Ray called me first thing that morning to hear my requirements. Ray did a fantastic job cleaning our couch, which had a large stain on one of the seats. He was upfront about the possibility of the stain not lifting completely after the clean, however you can barely see the stain now after the clean. As an asthmatic, I make it a priority for clean living spaces which includes needing to get rid of triggers including dust. Spectacular service! Recently moved in to an apartment and the movers were a little carless, leaving stains on the carpet from the elevator to my unit. I needed to clean my carpets before my Newborn came home for the first time. I left it until really late and I only had 1 day to make it happen. Fortunately I called Ray, he is amazing. He was able to organise to clean my carpets the next day and did an incredible job. For a large fake tan stain he said he wouldn't be able to get out because of the material of our custom lounge.. we can hardly notice anything left of it!! Wow!! Our carpet had been cleaned twice prior to us moving in to a new rental at our request - while it was ten times better after those cleans, it was still heavily stained. As tenants, we felt we had no choice but to live with it. After 12 months we got Ray in to do an annual carpet clean and it's like new!! On time, spot on with the job he did. Did all the bedrooms and some rugs we had. They came up really nice, soft and smelling great! We would highly recommend Ray! We have even booked him for another house already!

Ray did a great job for us. I went via his web site for a quote which he called me the next day with. Very competitive pricing and Ray knows his business very well. Steam treatment was great, the carpets were bone dry the next morning. Carpet feels fresh and smells fresh. I had already had the carpets cleaned and they still had some very basic stains on them, I got Ray in and the carpets are like new even after havinv them cleaned the day before. I went price over quality and ended up paying twice. Highly recommend Ray and he enabled us to get our full bond back.

FAQ’s About Our Merrylands Carpet Cleaning
How long does it take to dry after steam cleaning?
In normal weather conditions you can walk on your carpets straight away if need be. It’s always best to wait around 4 to 6 hours though. To allow your carpets to completely dry thoroughly, it’s best to wait around 6 to 8 hours. But you can walk on them in as little as 46 hours without negative effects.
Do you move furniture?
We can move furniture that is light enough and easy to manoeuvre. However, we won’t move heavy TV cabinets or other large pieces of furniture that require two people to move it safely.
How long do I have to stay off carpets?
You can actually walk on your carpets straight away! It’s just not advised, and for optimal results it’s best to wait 4-6 hours before walking on them again. They will be completely dry in 6-8 hours depending on weather conditions.
Do you remove stains?
Yes we remove all stains as part of the service. We always exceed expectations! All stains will be removed as much as possible – however not every stain is able to be completely removed as it’s just not possible.
How often should I have my carpets cleaned?
In general, your Merrylands’ home should have its carpets steam cleaned at least once every six months. It all depends on the amount of foot traffic through your home.
I'm pregnant – are your products safe for me?
All of our cleaning products are completely bio safe and natural. Regardless of that, we still recommend that pregnant women are not present during the cleaning process. It’s always best to be safe, even though we use the safest products that money can buy.
Do I need to vacuum carpet beforehand?
If your carpets are excessively dirty, then it is best to vacuum before we perform steam cleaning. In most scenarios it is usually not required for you to vacuum before we clean your carpets.

Difference between steam cleaning & dry cleaning?
Steam cleaning utilises hot water and boiling steam to penetrate the carpets and kill all mould and bacteria. It provides a very deep and sanitary clean.
Dry cleaning your carpets is done using a quick drying sticky chemical agent which gives you a great surface clean, but not as thorough as steam cleaning.
How do you achieve such good results?
