You can walk on your carpets immediately with bare feet or socks after we have finished. The steam cleaning process itself leaves carpets only slightly damp. But damp carpets do take between 4 to 6 hours to dry before you can walk on them again with shoes.

Damp carpets easily attract the dirt from your shoes which is why we recommend you don’t walk on them for a full 8 hours to achieve the best results. However, in normal warm weather your carpets will usually be fully dry and around 4 to 6 hours.

Yes we do move your furniture for you so you don’t have to worry about that. Better yet, we also will replace your furniture to its original position for you.

In rare situations some furniture is just too heavy to move. In those circumstances we just steam clean around your furniture without a problem.

The general recommendation is 8 hours before subjecting your carpets to normal foot traffic again. In most scenarios, your carpets will be completely dry within 4 to 6 hours.

You can still walk on your carpets immediately after we have finished steam cleaning them, it’s just that you will have to do so in socks or bare feet. This prevents the dirt from your shoes sticking to the dam carpet.

Large stained areas may incur extra fees. Normal stains and  spot removal is included free of charge with the quote, however excessive staining will incur a fee to remove it. But of course, we will provide you with an upfront fixed quote first before proceeding.

It’s generally agreed upon that all carpet should be steam cleaned every 3 to 6 months depending on the amount of foot traffic they receive. Even if carpets appear to be clean on the surface, they can still bacteria and mould deep within the fibres. Regular vacuuming can’t remove these allergy causing toxins which is why it’s recommended you steam clean every 3 to 6 months.

Yes all of our cleaning products are completely safe and biodegradable. We wouldn’t have any other way. However, even though our products are safe, they do emit an odour so we suggest that pregnant women leave the room for at least an hour while the cleaning is being performed.

Usually within the hour all smells have subsided and it is safe for pregnant women to re-enter the area without exposure to any odours.

There is no need to vacuum before we perform our steam cleaning. The only reason you would vacuum is if you had excessive amounts of debris on top of your carpets which usually isn’t the case. In 99% of cases there is no need for you to vacuum before we perform our work.
