Captain Carpet Cleaning is compliant with the Work Cover act (NSW) of 1st Sept 2001 regulation 2001, and the amended OH&S Act 2000 No 40, relevant Codes of Practice and applicable Australian Standards.

Simply put, when you contract Captain Carpet Cleaning if anything goes wrong, the principal is fully covered.

Companies employing Sub-Contractors must ensure the sub-contractors are also fully compliant. This is necessary because the Company employing the sub-contractor is regarded as the Principal and is now fully accountable. This applies to private households and property managers alike.

If your contractors don't have all of the following in place, you could be liable for any accidents or damages to either persons or property—

  1. Ensure you are dealing with a certified carpet technician
  2. Certificate of currency of insurances
  3. Data safety material sheets
  4. All power leads and machines properly checked and tagged
  5. Work Safety method statement
  6. Site Management Plan
  7. At least 7 years experience
